MOUNTAIN SPECIAL OPERATIONS TRAINING- CIVILIAN

Training for the Willing

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Silent Operator (SOP) is a rigorous 2-year training program divided into two distinct

phases: Year 1 (Mountain phase) focuses on individual field skills, while Year 2 emphasizes (Tactical phase) on how to do complex missions as member of an elite team.

To complete the entire program one must dedicate a total of 34 days for in person courses over the

2-year timeframe. Each class comprises 8 carefully selected students, with a maximum of 3 classes

held annually (24 students every two years). Selection into the program is based on thorough

interviews, physical assessments, background checks, and specific criteria to ensure the best fit for

our intensive training. The same skill sets that Marine Corps Scout Snipers learn are combined with

expert backcountry long term sustainment, a workout program and individual professional

development. Even though this is an individual assessment, team-based training takes place and

must be completed as well. This is designed to make people into the most capable, deadliest, self sufficient

versions of themselves while also building their character and instilling positive morals

and values.

As the premier Special Operations training for civilians, we uphold a stringent standard for

each skill taught, offering ample time for learning and practice between courses. Personal

responsibility and dedication to practice are vital for success, particularly in passing the crucial Year

1 phase to progress to Year 2. With a low 1-2 instructor ratio, our cadre—each with specialized

expertise and the designation of "Sniper"—are dedicated to transforming our clients. Drawing on

real-world operational experience, our instructors bring a wealth of knowledge from working in

elite teams skilled in conducting covert operations undetected.

THE MOUNTAIN PHASE (YEAR 1 )

“The hardest part is starting, the most rewarding part is finishing”.

This isn’t for the weak or faint hearted. Not everyone can become a part of this year long life changing experience. It starts with a quick phone call where we determine if you’re a good fit for this type of training, your personal goals and the best way forward. Professional athletes have a team of people training and preparing them to be the best. We are that team for the common person that wants to perform at the highest level in the mountains. Whether you want to get in better shape, learn to hunt or simply want to be able to protect your family in the worst case scenario this may be exactly what you need.

THE TACTICAL PHASE (YEAR 2)

PURPOSE

Our mission in Phase 2 is to equip civilians with the expertise to conduct tactical operations

clandestinely as part of a self-sufficient 6-man team. This specialized training elevates participants

to the level of a special operations unit, where survival in high-risk scenarios hinges on the cohesion

and competence of the team. Historically reserved for military units, this training is now available to

civilians, offering a significant advantage in navigating catastrophic events. Graduates not only

acquire the skills to operate effectively as a cohesive team but also gain the knowledge to train and

lead their own community defense force.

Requirements: Successful completion of Phase 1. A recommendation by the instructor cadre

evaluation board.

Location: The training locations rotate, with clients informed three months in advance of each

course start date.

Structure: Phase 2 comprises three courses, each spanning 4-days, and a final 5-day exercise.
