Private instruction enables us to give clients the best experience possible. This allows clients to feel extremely comfortable knowing that the course is specifically tailored to them and their skill level. Sense these courses are private it allows you to pick activities and sometimes even location. We jump on a phone call to talk about your goals and set the standard for how the 4 days is going to look. Some clients sleep in the provided lodging, some stay down the mountain in hotels while others sleep in the field. The cabin is included and while it’s not fancy, it’s got a hot shower, an amazing kitchen, and your own comfortable room. To see more on the cabin see the lodging options in the main menu. When you book you can customize your course to get instruction in the following areas: Long range precision shooting, pistol (tactical) , stalking/concealment techniques, long term wilderness sustainment, fire craft, shelter building, processing/trapping large and small game, purifying water, land navigation, and how to move through the mountains.

Food has several options. We can shop prior to getting to the cabin and clients have a full kitchen that they can utilize to make their own meals. Think Airbnb. You’d buy the main meals and we have seasonings and everything needed to cook your meals. We can also head down the mountain into town (45 minute drive) for a few restaurant options. Lastly if your group wants to not worry about food we can bring in a private chef from Tahoe or if you don’t mind us in your space we can even put on our chef hats. (NO COMPLAINING)

Private cook: We work with several companies that do private dining for customizing this experience.
Horseback riding/guided fishing tours: Some clients bring others with them that do not wish to participate in training. This training takes place at an animal pack station and they offer experiences so your guests have an incredible 4 day vacation. This land is untouched by humans, but horseback allows you to see the deep history of this region. From old cabins built hundreds of years ago that you will make you wonder how they got equipment there to seeing the world’s rarest trout in its natural environment.
$500 single rider trips up to client for 4 or 8 hours
$800 Couple rate 4-8 hour trip. lunch and wine typically takes place half way at an old 100 year old cabin in a beautiful meadow that’s surrounded by picturesque mountain peaks. We usually leave clients with a radio and alone for this to be a private lunch, call us when youre ready for us to pick you up and head back.
Fishing: Guided fishing can be added to the day on horseback and you can fish some of the most remote lakes and rivers in the state of California . The only way in is on horseback. $200 per person for the day.
Childcare: For those who wish to bring their kids, depending on age, we can provide a dedicated person to keep them busy and plan activities such as shooting, skiing (Tahoe), shelter building, plant foraging etc. Pricing upon request .
PRICING:
A 50% Deposit is required to book your spot and is non refundable. You can reschedule the same course for up to 1 year if it is rescheduled at least one week prior to the course start date. The remaining balance must be paid in full one week prior to the course starting.

Guests of clients/bystanders: $500 + Any “vacation” activities (if desired)- Family/friends have plenty of places to see on their own and we have a list of recommendations that will make for a memorable experience. Kids under 18 can attend training at no additional cost other the the bystander fee. We are big on getting kids involved.
